Which services does GuideSpace provide?

Justice-Involved Substance Use IOP, DUI/DWAI Level II Education and Therapy, three clinical evaluations, individual virtual therapy, live anger management, and eight self-paced courses.

Which evaluations can I request?

Substance Use & ASAM Evaluation; Mental Health & Substance Use Evaluation; and Justice-Involved Behavioral Health Evaluation. Evaluations are available for court, probation, attorney referrals, and treatment planning.

How do I choose an evaluation?

Tell us the referral question and the type of evaluation requested. We will clarify the appropriate service and scope before scheduling. Share referral paperwork through the secure intake process.

Can I request an evaluation for a DUI/DWAI-related referral?

Request a Substance Use & ASAM Evaluation and tell us about your referral requirements. We will review whether the requested evaluation is within our scope. An evaluation is separate from Level II Education or Therapy.

What is the Justice-Involved Substance Use IOP?

It is a structured treatment program for adults with substance use needs who are navigating justice-system involvement. An intake reviews clinical needs, program fit, and the appropriate next step.

Are DUI/DWAI programs the same as an IOP?

No. DUI/DWAI Level II Education, Level II Therapy, and the Justice-Involved Substance Use IOP are separate services. Select the service named in your referral, or choose Not sure for guidance.

Can I request individual virtual sessions?

Yes. Choose Request individual intake to discuss your needs and goals. Appointments depend on clinical fit, availability, and your care plan.

Which self-paced courses are available?

Anger Management & Emotional Regulation; Parenting Skills; Co-Parenting After Separation & Divorce; Substance Use Education & Recovery Skills; Cognitive Restructuring & Decision-Making; Impulse Control & Life Skills; Theft & Shoplifting Prevention; and Healthy Relationships, Boundaries & Conflict Resolution.

How do live anger management and the self-paced course differ?

Live anger management uses scheduled virtual classes. The self-paced course is completed independently. Confirm the required topic, hours, and format with your referring organization before selecting either option.

Is the anger assessment a clinical or court evaluation?

No. The anger assessment is an educational screening. It does not replace a clinical evaluation or establish that a court requirement has been met.

Will a court or probation officer accept my service or report?

Acceptance depends on the referring organization and its requirements. Confirm the service, provider requirements, hours, format, and documentation before enrolling or booking. Acceptance is not guaranteed.

Do you accept insurance?

Insurance is accepted for eligible clinical services. Participation and benefits depend on your plan and the service requested. We will review applicable coverage before services begin.

Does insurance cover every service?

Coverage varies by service and plan. Do not assume that a course, court-related evaluation, DUI/DWAI service, or required report is covered simply because insurance is accepted. Ask us to review the specific service.

Are self-pay options available?

Yes. Self-pay options depend on the service provided. Insurance coverage varies by service and plan.
Contact us to discuss payment arrangements before scheduling or enrolling.

Will I receive a letter of completion?

Courses provide a Letter of Completion after all requirements are met and completion is verified. Evaluations use clinical reports and recommendations; IOP and DUI/DWAI services use their applicable program records.

When is a completion letter issued?

Eligible courses offer a same-day letter after completion has been verified. Confirm eligibility for your course. This timing does not apply to evaluation reports, IOP discharge records, or DUI/DWAI documentation.

How do I request a service?

Use the request button on the service page. The shared form shows your selected service and lets you change it. Choose a category, then the relevant evaluation, course, or program option. You may also select Not sure – help me choose.

Does submitting a request confirm my appointment or enrollment?

No. We will contact you to discuss the request, availability, and next steps. Do not include clinical history or court documents in the general request form; use the secure intake process provided.
